Unfortunately, owing to its city centre location, NTU City Campus does not have its own grounds.
However, all is not lost!
The historic Nottingham Arboretum is situated just a short walk away (approximately 8 minutes) from the Newton Building.
During BiCon, the Arboretum will be open 8am-9:15pm, leaving plenty of time for folks who need a break to get some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful plant and wildlife (there is also an aviary with exotic birds!).
We hope to organise a BiCon picnic at the Arboretum during the Friday lunch break (weather permitting, bring your own snacks), but there is also a café open 10am-4:30pm 7 days a week.
The Arboretum is wheelchair accessible and disabled parking can be arranged in advance. Please read the Nottingham City website page here for their full list of facilities and how to arrange this.
